Not sure where to use them? These expansion nuts are perfect for anchoring metal plates, sliding aluminum alloy doors and windows, stripping anti-theft door locks, and installing iron-clad houses. And with their compatibility with plates of varying thickness, you can trust that they'll work for a wide range of projects.
Using these Jack nuts is easy. Simply drill a hole with a recommended diameter of 2, tap the anchor into the hole until it's flush with the substrate surface, attach the setting tool to the head of the screw, and squeeze the tool to expand the anchor (small size can be set with a screwdriver). Finally, remove the screw and place it through the fixture, then back into the anchor. Tighten the screw until the fixture is fixed.
Our carbon steel Jack nut and screw set comes with 3 sizes of Jack nuts, each with a corresponding screw size. The hole diameters of the Jack nuts are approximately 8mm/0.31inch, 10mm/0.39inch, and 12mm/0.47inch. The corresponding screw sizes are approximately 25 x 4mm/0.98 x 0.16inch(length x thread diameter), 25 x 5mm/0.98 x 0.2inch(length x thread diameter), and 25 x 6mm/0.98 x 0.24inch(length x thread diameter).
